Chris Jericho has had one hell of a pro wrestling career.

From ECW to NJPW and WWE to AEW, Y2J has done it all and established himself as one of the greatest performers of all-time.

He's been a major draw for every promotion, having become the fourth Grand Slam Champion in WWE history and more recently he was AEW's inaugural World Heavyweight Champion.

Jericho is a future Hall of Famer and although retirement is a long way off, it seems he knows exactly who he wants to wrestle in his final match - Lance Storm.

The furloughed WWE producer revealed they have even discussed doing so when asked about it on Twitter.

"We’ve both talked about doing that," Storm responded to fan who asked if it's true that Jericho wants to 'bookend' his career.

However, he did later add in the comments section of his tweet that 'nothing is planned' as yet.

But to see Jericho finish his career against Storm would make perfect sense - the pair have so much history in the pro wrestling business.

They met while training at the Hart Brothers School of Wrestling, before making their in-ring debuts against each other in 1990.

After that, the duo teamed together while working in Japan, Mexico and Smokey Mountain Wrestling and have remained friends throughout their careers.

While Jericho went on to become one of the greatest of all-time, Storm's career went down a different path.

The Canadian retired in 2016 after leaving WWE one year prior and wrestled his final match against Matt Hardy.

He's since gone on to work as a producer for Impact Wrestling and more recently returned to WWE, but was furloughed earlier this month amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Storm has always played down a return to the ring, but surely he'd have one more match in him if it was to bring the curtain down on Jericho's career.
