While preparing for his rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr last year, Anthony Joshua made sure to find ways to get around the stress of the big fight.

One of these ways he found was to joke around with his team during his time at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.

AJ's friend and team-member Jonathan Constant uploaded a video to Instagram at the time, claiming that Joshua had challenged him £10,000 to prove that he could do 25 wide-grip pull-ups, a notoriously tricky work-out.

The hilarious clip shows the boxing star's stunned reaction as he realised that he was about to be 10 grand worse off, throwing himself to the floor when Constant managed the feat of strength.

"I'm hiding, I'm hiding," AJ joked as he ran off to escape paying his friend the prize.

With AJ sheltering away, the rest of the team celebrated the big win, including AJ's sparring partners Timothy Moten and Andrew Tabiti.

Maybe in the future, Joshua will be more hesitant to put the money where his mouth is, but honestly, we can't count on it. Especially when 10 grand is like pocket change to someone of his level.

Clearly, the joking around during training helped to cool Joshua off before the big fight, as he was able to conquer Ruiz Jr, regaining the WBA, IBF and WBO titles which he had lost to the Mexican-American in June last year, winning through unanimous-decision.

Currently, rumours are doing the rounds that AJ will fight Tyson Fury for the WBC heavyweight world title. The winner of this blockbuster match would, therefore, be able to claim dominance over the entire division, after what would surely be a match for the ages.

A clash between two British giants might be exactly what the UK needs after a summer in lockdown, so let's hope it stays on the cards going into the future.
