England manager praises Wenger

England manager Fabio Capello believes that wonderkid Jack Wilshere will grow into a star for England if he continues to learn under Arsene Wenger.

Wilshere has run into trouble with the law a few times since joining Arsenal, including receiving a caution for common assault in November last year, and an incident with a taxi driver in December.

Capello has advised the 19 year old and fellow England starlet Andy Carroll to lay off the alcohol in order to reach their true potential.

But while Capello has admitted to speaking to Carroll about limiting any bad behaviour, the Italian trusts Wenger to look after Wilshere at Arsenal and turn him into a mature role model and football star.

“I think the teacher of Wilshere is really good,” Capello told reporters.

“Arsene Wenger will be a good teacher for him.

"It’s better for him to speak with him.”

Arsene Wenger is renowned for having a top class youth policy, and is responsible for creating Arsenal stars such as Robin van Persie and Samir Nasri, who are leading the Barclays Premier League title charge.
