Talks are underway over a huge world heavyweight title unification fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, according to ESPN.
Fans have wanted this fight for years and it could finally happen in Saudi Arabia this year.
Fury was set to face Deontay Wilder in a trilogy fight in Las Vegas this summer, having secured a convincing seventh-round stoppage win over the American back in February.
However, it has been reported that Wilder is likely to be paid-off in order to give up a shot to reclaim his titles.
Meanwhile, Joshua was scheduled to take on Kubrat Pulev at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in June, but that bout has been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
There were plans to push the fight back to July but this now seems unlikely.
Joshua beat Andy Ruiz Jr to reclaim the WBA, IBF and WBO titles back in December after suffering a shock loss to the American-Mexican last June.
“The conversations between myself and MTK are that we’ve had an approach,” Eddie Hearn told ESPN.
“We’ve had a number of approaches from territories to stage that fight, so the only discussions at the moment are where this fight takes place. And we don’t even know when this fight could take place.
“We’re certainly open to have discussions about the possibility of this happening this year or in the next fight.”
Reports suggest Hearn is handling negotiations with Fury’s advisers, MTK, instead of Frank Warren due to of a ‘rift’ between the two promoters.
When asked if he would be willing to fight in Saudi Arabia, the Gypsy King said: “I’ll fight in Timbuktu if the money’s right. I have a bag and I will travel.”
