The standard of football in the Chinese Super League is something that will continually be debated for many years.
Players like Oscar, Hulk, Anderson Talisca and other have been criticised for wasting some of their best playing years over in the Far East on mega-money contracts.
But the league can also serve as a destination for talented players to rebuild their confidence.
Axel Witsel, Paulinho and Yannick Carassco are just three of the names that scored big moves back to Europe after impressing out in China.
Another player who rediscovered the Midas touch out in the Far East was Alexandre Pato, the Brazilian wonder-kid who seemed to have the world at his feet 10 years ago.
However, subpar performances with AC Milan and failed loan moves to Chelsea and Villarreal saw the goals dry up and his stock plummet.
That was until he accepted a lucrative offer to join Tianjin Quanjian in 2017. His 60 games with the club yielded 36 goals and eight assists and a video of Pato's time out in China proves just how dominant he was in the Super League.
Once again, it says a lot about the standard of football in the country...

The guy is streets ahead of everyone else and this was someone who couldn't hit a barn door or bear a defender during his days with Chelsea.
Were you watching the video from afar, you could easily mistake the Brazilian for Lionel Messi, he looks that good.
Wonder-goals, embarrassing defenders with skill, linking the play together and displaying the pace from his younger years, Pato was the full package out in China.
Although the less said about some of the defending, the better...
While the video of Pato certainly undermines the integrity of the Super League, it must also be remembered that the division can serve a vital purpose in rebuilding the confidence of a player who has stagnated in European football.
Pato's Chinese adventure came to an end back in March 2019 when he signed for Sao Paolo, where he's managed just six goals in 22 games.
