Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey once went head-to-head during an intense face-off during a Bud Light challenge.

During the Bud Light Team Challenge, fans were actually able to see the ‘Notorious’ one stare-down the ‘Baddest Woman on the Planet’ for what felt like an eternity.

The pair were brought in by Bud Light for a media opportunity and it’s safe to say the two former UFC champions did not disappoint.

McGregor and Rousey marched up towards each other in an excruciatingly intense moment prior to Rousey breaking eye-contact in a hilarious moment before embracing the Irishman in an almighty stare-down.

Speaking about the event, McGregor claimed he’d be tossed on his head in “one second flat” if Rousey were to ever get her hands on him.

McGregor continued:

"I swear on my life her back muscles were the most solid back muscles I'd ever felt in my life," he revealed.

"I thought if this lady was to get a hold of me, she would throw me on my head in literally one second flat.

"So, I would not like to engage in a clinch fight with Ronda. But make no mistake about it, I have my ways to win that fight, too."

After her famous shoot with McGregor, Rousey had one more UFC fight before retiring from the sport of MMA – during her final competitive appearance inside the Octagon, she was defeated by Amanda Nunes in what looked like a convincing victory for the latter.

McGregor, on the other hand, made a triumphant return to the sport of MMA back in January when he defeated ‘Cowboy’ Donald Cerrone in what was a truly devastating loss for the American.

McGregor is set to fight again post-lockdown, but his opponent is yet to be known; many fans are speculating a trilogy fight with Nate Diaz might be on the cards while some are even suggesting a rematch with Floyd Mayweather in some form or another.
