Too much of the credit of Infinity Ward, one thing which has kept the minds of gamers sane during these difficult times is 'Call of Duty: Warzone'.

The Battle Royale-styled game has captured the attention of gamers across the world and a range of new, exciting features has helped maintain this attention.

Nevertheless, it's been rumoured that yet another map is on the horizon and this one could be Cold War-themed. Infinity Ward has recently hinted at a range of new features that could be used in Season 4, while the biggest rumour which has circulated amongst fans is the end of the Verdansk map.

This beloved map could be within its final few months, as some theories have suggested that the Verdansk map could be nuked at the end of Season 3 to pave way for new adventures. Reddit user DougDagnabbit recently shared a leaked video of the new Battle Royale.

The greatest anecdote which fans took from this leak is that Urzikstan prominently featured within the never-before-seen footage. This supports the theory that a transition from Verdansk to Urzikstan could possibly occur, however, YouTuber TheGamingRevolution has since dismissed these suggestions.

The Youtuber, who consists of over 300,000 subscribers on the platform, is synonymous with reliable gaming information. TheGamingRevolution meticulously criticised these rumours and ultimately dismissed the possibility of Urzkistan's appearance in Season 4 within his latest video.

On the other hand, Call of Duty narrative director Taylor Kurosaki recently said that it's only just been revealed that areas of Verdansk are yet to be explored.

"Players have already discovered that there is a whole other part of Verdansk they haven't seen yet," he teased.

"They have found clues, and that there is more than meets the eye in this city. Season 4 will unravel some of those mysteries and unlock some of them for our players."

TheGamingRevolution did later reveal that although Urkzistan's feature will be unlikely, a new Cold-War themed map could be entering in late 2020.

It's believed that this new Cold War edition is to be released alongside the next 'Call of Duty' game which is to consist of a similar theme.
