That was their 3-1 win over Manchester City in November, which moved them eight points clear at the top of the table.Leicester City’s remarkable 9-0 win over September, which equalled the record for the biggest ever Premier League victory, came third. We’re guessing plenty of Arsenal, Manchester United and Everton fans voted in the poll.

It ended a record-equalling 18-game winning run and saw their unbeaten streak stop at 44 games.

Plenty of Arsenal fans enjoyed the occasion. Gooners haven’t had much to celebrate this season but they’re safe in the knowledge that their Premier League record of 49 games unbeaten remains in tact.

Indeed, Arsenal’s official Twitter account wrote: ‘Phew…’ after the full-time whistle blew at Vicarage Road.

Manchester United icon Gary Neville also enjoyed the moment. He posted a hilarious video on Twitter that racked up more than 30,000 retweets.

Liverpool’s rivals haven’t enjoyed their success this season, which explains the reaction to their defeat.

Neville certainly didn’t enjoy having to speak highly about Liverpool each passing week on Sky Sports while his own Man United side battled to try to break into the top four.

The coronavirus suspension delayed the moment that will truly crush Neville, though: the title being sealed and Jordan Henderson lifting the trophy.
