Alright, he's not exactly new on the block, and certainly not new to most UFC fans, but he's once again stamped his name on the heavyweight division with a demolition job of Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC 249.The opening bell had only just rang and Ngannou was already on his man like an animal stalking his prey.Then, just a mere 20 seconds later, the final bell was ringing, with Rozenstriuk on the floor needing medical help.Ngannou threw punch after punch after punch, but it was a left shot that caught his opponent flush, sending him tumbling to the floor and the referee calling the fight over immediately.Of course, that was the right decision as it was very, VERY clear that he was out cold almost immediately and was not going to be able to get back up in a fit state.Ngannou was heavy favourite going into the bout, and it's now very clear and easy to see why.However, we're not sure many expected a total first-round demolition like that, but that's the magic of UFC, and the magic of the heavyweight division.One sweet punch that connects can be all she wrote.
Let's be honest, after seeing that knockout, can you blame the referee for calling it off almost immediately?
Ngannou is a monster, and surely a heavyweight title fight is in his future. His near future as well.
