Football is slowly returning to action after the coronavirus pandemic paralysed every corner of the globe.
South Korea’s K-League returned at the weekend, while the Bundesliga will resume this coming weekend.
Of course, matches will be played behind closed doors for the foreseeable future.
While we’ll all be grateful that live football is back on TV, it’s true that football without fans is nothing.
There’s nothing quite like being inside a full stadium cheering your side on to victory.
That won’t happen for the foreseeable future.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t admire stadiums for the incredible infrastructures that they are.
Therefore, Spanish outlet Marca conducted a vote to decide the 40 greatest stadiums in the world.
