It may have been released way back in March 2011, but EA Sports' Fight Night Champion video game remains the best simulator available for fans to play out virtual versions of fights.
Recently, the game was even used by the World Boxing Super Series to crown their own virtual champions in a number of weight divisions.
The latest bout to get the Fight Night Champion treatment is the upcoming grudge match between former World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall and his long-time rival Hafthor "Thor" Bjornsson.
The clash was played out by a fan on YouTube - and it had an emphatic winner.
The bout takes place in a simulated version of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which is fitting given that Bjornsson revealed in an Instagram post earlier this month that the fight is scheduled to take place in "Sin City" next year.
Now, as the in-game versions of Hall and Bjornsson are custom creations, we have no way of knowing what attributes they were given in the game.
With that said, Bjornsson dominates the virtual showdown. Having almost stopped Hall in the fifth round of the scheduled 10-round contest, Bjornsson took out his man in the sixth.
Before he secured the finish, though, Bjornsson was deducted a point for persistently headbutting his opponent. It will not come as a massive surprise if we see some similar dirty tactics when the two men finally meet in Vegas.
The end for Hall came at 1:24 of the sixth round, after Bjornsson landed a crushing shot to the head. An exhausted Hall is unable to beat the referee's count - and the bout is declared over.
When Hall and Bjornsson step into the ring in person, there must be some doubt that the fight would see the sixth round. Given the sheer mass of humanity in the ring, one clean shot for either man may well be enough to secure victory.
The proposed date for the much-anticipated scrap is September 2021, although - as with everything in the world right now - that is subject to change.
For now, then, YouTube is the closest that fans can get to witnessing Hall vs Bjornsson.
We all remain curious, though, to see how the real-life clash plays out.
