Cristiano Ronaldo has won it all in during his career in football.

The Portuguese forward became world star at Manchester United before then establishing himself as one of the best players of all-time at Real Madrid.

After nine incredible seasons at Madrid, Ronaldo decided to move to Juventus in 2018.

And he managed to win Serie A in his first season, meaning he has won the title in three of Europe's biggest leagues.

In total, he's managed to score 626 goals in 838 games for his club side.

Ronaldo has won the Champions League five times and he's also been crowned the winner of the Ballon d'Or five times.

As well as incredible success at club level, has also scored 99 times for Portugal and he helped guide his national side to the European Championship in 2016.

We could go on forever and ever about how many records Ronaldo has smashed during his career.

But, despite winning everything there is to win, Ronaldo still has a surreal amount of critics.

Many see him as a clear second best to Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo is also often trolled for his free-kicks, while he has also been described as a penalty merchant. Some simply say he is overrated.

But these assessments are incredibly harsh.

And a video has been created that does a great job in coming to Ronaldo's defence.

Published by @FlFAWC2018, the video is titled: 'You can hate Cristiano Ronaldo all you want, but if you don't appreciate Cristiano Ronaldo you simply don't appreciate football. You're just a sad hater.'

The two-minute montage features Ronaldo bamboozling defenders with skills and going on incredible runs, while it also features him scoring ridiculous goals and free-kicks.

The video has gone viral, amassing over 2k retweets and 8k 'likes' and you can view it below:

It's hard to for a two-minute video to do Ronaldo's incredible career justice, but the montage does just that.

He's been able to do everything. He's sensational in front of goal, has incredible trickery, is quick and most importantly, he has incredible desire to be the best player he can be.

As the video says, you have the right to dislike Ronaldo. Some think he comes across as arrogant and they may have a point. Barcelona fans may also dislike him due to his rivalry with Messi.

But you simply cannot sit there and belittle his career.

What Ronaldo has achieved during his career and is still achieving at the age of 35 is incredible.

He is, without doubt, one of the best players ever. And if you truly love football, surely that's something that is easy to recognise.
