Steven Gerrard is probably the greatest player in the history of Liverpool Football Club.
For 17 seasons, the incredible midfielder dragged his boyhood club to nine trophies - including the unforgettable 2005 Champions League victory.
But his dream of winning the Premier League agonisingly evaded him. It wasn’t for a lack of trying, though.
In truth, Gerrard was often let down by his teammates. He could have played for any side in the world but remained at Liverpool through some pretty dark times.
Ok, the likes of Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez came and went and Gerrard did form incredible partnerships with both of them.
But what would it have been like for Gerrard to play in this current Liverpool side alongside, say, Mohamed Salah?
Well, a video has emerged that attempts to show exactly what it would be like.
Recently, we brought you a video imagining if Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo played in the same team.
And now a similar video shows Salah getting on the end of Gerrard passes giving a glimpse into what it would be like if they played together. Gerrard even gets put through by Salah a couple of times.

Since Salah arrived at Anfield from Roma ahead of the 2017/18 season, he’s been pretty quite incredible.
In the Egyptian’s debut season at the club, he scored a crazy 44 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions. He followed that up with 27 more during the 2018/19 campaign, which saw him claim his second consecutive Premier League Golden Boot - although he had to share it with teammate Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
And before the coronavirus pandemic halted this season, he’d scored 20 goals in 40 matches as Liverpool looked set to smash all kinds of records to claim their first ever Premier League title.
If he had Gerrard playing behind him, he’d probably have scored even more than 91 goals in 144 games!
