Liverpool bolster so many world-class players at the moment.

They have one of the world's best goalkeepers in Alisson Becker, while in front of him they have three brilliant players in Andy Robertson, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

In attack, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino form one of the best trios in football at the moment.

But how many of their current stars would get into Liverpool's best XI of the Premier League era?

BBC Merseyside Sport have been asking Liverpool fans to vote for the club's best XI since 1992.

The formation was automatically set to 4-3-3.

BBC then picked out the four best Liverpool players at every position and asked fans to vote for their favourite.

The winner of each poll would then be put into the best XI. Voting concluded earlier this week and here's the XI that was selected...

GK: Alisson Becker

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool FC v Atletico Madrid - UEFA Champions League Round of 16: Second Leg

CB: Jamie Carragher

CB: Virgil van Dijk

Watford FC v Liverpool FC - Premier League

LB: Andy Robertson

CDM: Javier Mascherano

Liverpool's Argentinian midfielder Javie

RCM: Steven Gerrard

LCM: John Barnes

QPR V LIVERPOOL

RW: Mohamed Salah

LW: Luis Suarez

Chelsea v Liverpool - Premier League

ST: Robbie Fowler

Alisson Becker was easily voted Liverpool's best goalkeeper in the Premier League era, winning with 77% of the vote.

Sami Hyppia is perhaps unlucky to miss out on a spot at centre-back, with Van Dijk and Carragher the preferred partnership.

John Arne Riise was a fan favourite at Liverpool, but he missed out to Robertson.

The big omission at central midfield is Xabi Alonso.

Preston North End v Liverpool - FA Cup 3rd Round

The Spaniard was terrific at the Reds, but John Barnes narrowly won the vote to be placed at the left side of midfield.

Although Barnes was terrific for Liverpool, that's controversial as Barnes' best days undoubtedly came between 1987-1991, before the Premier League was formed.

Liverpool have been blessed with so many great attackers, meaning Steve McManaman, Michael Owen, Sadio Mane, Fernando Torres and Michael Owen all miss out.
