Floyd Mayweather has revealed that he will only return to boxing if he is paid £500 million, but has decided that he doesn't want to fight "any of the younger guys."
Mayweather officially retired with a perfect 50-0 record after his blockbuster crossover fight with UFC's Conor McGregor in 2017.
It is widely believed that 'Money' raked in about £300 million for the bout, which saw him put an end to McGregor in the 10th round.
The 43-year-old has since often teased a return to the sport, but as he gets older, and his pockets get deeper, there's less and less motivation to bring him back for good.
Mayweather has previously revealed that he is prepared to rematch McGregor and fight current UFC champ Khabib Nurmagomedov, but only for a very hefty £464 million.
And now, he's adamant that he will only return to the ring if he's offered around £500 million, and as long as it's not one of the current 'young fighters'.
In an interview with FightHype.com, as per The Sun, Floyd explained: "If I see an opportunity where I can entertain and have a little fun and make six hundred million, why not?
"If I am going to do something it's got to be worth it.
"But there's no number that's worth me getting back in that ring and fighting these young fighters to get any type of wear and tear on my body."
Since his 'retirement' from boxing in 2017, Mayweather has actually returned to the sport, in an exhibition bout against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa back in December 2018, which ended in a very swift first-round knockout.
Mayweather continued: "Am I going to fight any fighters as of right now? No.
"I'm retired. I'm retired from the sport of boxing.
"I'm training, having fun, and enjoying life. I don't want for nothing. I'm not retired from business.
"When I bet McGregor, they said 'That ain't 50 fights (50-0)'. But these guys are fighting and they are making a couple of dollars, they're crazy."
It has recently been rumoured that the American is somehow running out of money, but he insists that he is making "seven figures every month" from "smart investments."
Whatever the reason for Mayweather's hesitation to return to the sport, no matter what he does, it's almost certain he'll be able to make a lot of money from it.
