Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland was told to "go f*** your grandmother" by Schalke's Jean-Clair Todibo moments before scoring on Saturday afternoon.

In the 23rd minute of the encounter at an empty Signal Iduna Park, Todibo confronted Haaland as Schalke prepared to defend a corner.

Due to the absence of fans inside the stadium, every conversation was audible and mics picked up Todibo's message to Haaland.

Rather awkwardly, the Norwegian striker put Dortmund ahead just minutes later.

And it got even worse for Todibo. He was taken off at half-time after suffering an injury.

More to follow.
