Chelsea and England's Callum Hudson-Odoi was reportedly arrested yesterday while breaking lockdown rules.

The Sun reported on Sunday night that the 19-year-old was reprimanded by police after a 4am row with a glamour model he met online.

Hudson-Odoi was the first Premier League footballer to publicly reveal that he contracted coronavirus, but his alleged actions were in breach of protective measures introduced by the UK government.

The winger is said to have asked the model to visit his west London penthouse wearing lingerie and the pair are said to have exchanged messages that hinted at having 'fun' together.

The woman apparently sent a number of raunchy photographs of herself to the Premier League star who sent his car to collect her for a trip across the capital.

Neighbours recall the events

However, the events of the evening apparently turned sour, culminating in the model calling an ambulance and the police.

One of Hudson-Odoi's neighbours remarked: “She looked very glamorous, like the sort of girl you’d see on Love Island.

“She had very posh Louis Vuitton luggage with her. The place has been crawling with police. A spa area on the roof has been taped off but I’ve no idea if that’s the same incident.”

Another resident stated: “There have been a few gatherings happening but we didn’t know quite who was responsible.

“There are a couple of footballers in the building — but in the early hours of last night it all kicked off and the police were called."

The model was taken to hospital after complaining about not feeling well.

The Metropolitan Police said of the incident: “Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 03:53hrs on Sunday 17 May to a report of an unwell woman.”

They confirmed that a woman had been taken to hospital and that an arrested man was still in custody.
