US President Donald Trump angered many over the weekend when he accused his predecessor Barack Obama of being "grossly incompetent" during his time in office. The irony of this statement was not lost on several high-profile Trump critics, including WWE legend Batista.The 51-year-old was quick to mock Trump in a video posted on Twitter, telling the president he was doing a "great job". The clip of Batista's message can be seen further down this article."Hi, Mr. President. Super duper Dave Bautista here," said the six-time world champion in a sarcastic tone. "Sorry, I'm all sweaty. I just finished my morning workout - because I was inspired by you and the amazing shape you are (in). It's really beautiful!"I just want to say you are doing a great job, Mr. President. I know there are almost 90,000 people dead, but if it wasn't for you it could have been eight trillion, so thank you. You do an amazing job," stated Batista in a cutting fashion. "The Animal", who had been due to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame before coronavirus pandemic hit earlier this year, also jokingly told Trump that he was "looking forward" to reading his latest criticisms of Obama on Twitter later in the day."You're good, he (Obama) is bad. You can ask anyone, really tremendous," quips a clearly unimpressed Batista.The superstar-turned-actor then goes on to bash Trump's son Donald Junior over his comments that live tigers are suitable to be kept as pets."Also, I heard Don Junior say that you could get a tiger for $2,000," says Batista, feigning interest in owning one of the exotic animals. "I just want to know... where do I pick up my tiger? And can I borrow $2,000?"
Finally, Batista asks president Trump whether he can join the Space Corps, suggesting that his role as Drax The Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy movies might qualify as relevant experience.
"I thought you might have a job for me in Space Corps... I know more than anybody about Space Corps," said Batista in a tongue-in-cheek manner.
As a long-time critic of Trump on social media, Batista is possibly the last man President Trump would offer a job.
The former WWE star has a strong social media following, though, and this will surely not be the last time we see Batista take public aim at Trump.
