Read Madrid have shown interest in star Tottenham playmaker Sandro, with the Spanish giants reportedly set to make a move when the summer transfer period hits.

According to Caught Offside, Real Madrid are set to let go of defensive midfielder Lassana Diarra, and can see space for Sandro in their squad.

The 22 year old has been valued by numerous reports at £25 million, and rumours are circulating that Real Madrid are considering spending £50 million to bring the Tottenham midfielder, along with Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez, to the Bernabeu.

There will no doubt be lots of connections with top players and Real Madrid in the summer, with the almost certain departure of Chelsea target Kaka and Liverpool target Sergio Canales.

And after Sandro impressed in his performances for Tottenham against AC and Inter Milan in the Champions League, Jose Mourinho will be keeping a close eye on Sandro when he plays for Tottenham against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter finals.
