Carl Froch is in team Earth is flat.

No, seriously, the former boxer is adamant that the Earth is flat, and he's also called NASA a 'fake space agency'.

Of course, we are all allowed our own opinion, and there are millions of people that will sit in the same camp as Froch, but the fact he claims it to be 100% and the fact he believes NASA is fake truly is mind boggling.

The debate about the Earth's shape is one of the oldest known to man. Plenty see it as a globe, whereas others think it's flat.

Sadly, it's a debate and a discussion that will never be settled as everyone will have their own opinion on the matter, but when talking about his view, Froch made it very clear he's team Earth is flat.

The now-retired boxer said when discussing the matter: “The Earth is flat, 100%.

There’s no proof of the Earth’s curvature and this fake space agency NASA use CGI images and every one is different.

"I’m looking at them thinking, ‘Hang on a minute, they’re like cartoons.’

“When someone like Richard Branson goes up there and starts doing chartered flights... and you can look back on Earth and see the Earth’s curvature, I’ll believe the Earth is a globe.”

Froch made a career of taking heavy blows to the head, and no doubt some will lay the blame on that with his opinion, but he's allowed to have it, as we all are.

Saying it's 100% flat is rather bold, however, as is accusing NASA of being fake, but once again, that's his opinion and we must accept it.

The Englishman hung up his gloves back in 2014 after defeating long-term nemesis George Groves for a second time at Wembley.

He finished his boxing career with a record of 33-2, but there are still murmurs to this day that he may return.

He's recently had a little war of words with fellow-Brit and undefeated boxer Joe Calzaghe, to which he claims he could end that invincible status.

He's also confidently claimed he'd defeat current star Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.

Another Froch opinion that hasn't gone down well, it must be said.
