Over the weekend it circulated that Conor McGregor COULD fight Kamaru Usman this summer for the welterweight championship.

Seemingly out of nowhere, Usman's manager tweeted out to the Irishman, telling him he's got a chance to fight his client for the belt this summer if he wants it.

Ali Abdelaziz tweeted: "It looks like #1 contender wants to fight Nate Diaz now. Good for him. Conor McGregor hey you want a title shot ? Come to daddy, Usman will give you one and he promise first two rounds without takedowns only slaps."

No doubt UFC president Dana White saw this tweet and immediately saw dollar bills flashing in his eyes. McGregor vs Usman for the welterweight belt is absolute money for UFC and for all parties involved.

However, it has come totally out of the blue, and it does leave more questions than answers, so we're not getting our hopes up just yet of a fight taking place between the pair.

Having said that, one gamer is clearly excited at the prospect and simply couldn't wait until it was made official.

Instead, he opted to put the two inside the cage on EA Sports UFC 3.

Kamaru Usman vs Conor McGregor for the welterweight championship.

Under the account name 'taco tuesdey', the video was uploaded a few days ago, and if the game is anything to go by, Usman will be taking home his belt, and inflicting yet another defeat on 'Notorious'.

It wouldn't be just any defeat, though, it would be ANOTHER submission for McGregor to deal with.

A lot of the McGregor haters always reference the fact he taps out, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz included, so they'll be annoyed to see him tap out in the virtual world as well.

In truth, however, it really was a one-sided affair, with Usman dominating throughout.

The first round he took McGregor to the mat and dished plenty of punishment onto the Irishman, before cutting him open pretty badly in the second.

The fight came to its conclusion in the third, with the Nigerian forcing McGregor to tap out due to an arm bar.

Will that be the end result if they were to meet in the summer?
