Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a ridiculous amount of goals during his career. In competitive club games, the Portuguese has hit the back of the net 626 times. He scored five times for Sporting Lisbon, 118 times for Man United, 450 times for Real Madrid and has so far scored 53 goals for Juventus. He's also scored 99 times for Portugal, meaning he has found the back of the net on 725 occasions.Ronaldo is also a scorer of spectacular goals. We've decided to look through his career and name the best goal he has scored for Portugal and the four club sides he has represented.

Sporting Lisbon | vs Real Betis | 2002

Ronaldo hit the back of the net just five times for his first club so there isn't much of a sample size.

To be honest, none of those strikes were particular amazing, so we've been a bit cheeky and picked a goal he scored in a friendly against Betis.

In his first senior game, Ronaldo rounded the goalkeeper and lobbed the ball into the net. Not a bad way to get off the mark.

Manchester United | vs Portsmouth | 2008

There were a few contenders for his best United goal. Ronaldo netted a 40-yard free-kick against Arsenal, while he also scored from miles out against Porto.

But we've gone for his free-kick against Portsmouth.

Ronaldo managed to get incredible dip and power on the ball as his effort crashed into the top corner.

David James was left stranded but that's no disrespect to him. No one in the world would have saved that. It's arguably the greatest free-kick of Ronaldo's career.

Real Madrid | vs Juventus | 2018

Ronaldo scored 450 goals in his career for Los Blancos, but his goal against Juventus was undoubtedly the best.

The Portuguese legend produced an unbelievable overhead kick to score what is one of the best goals in Champions League history.

It was deservedly given a standing ovation by Juventus supporters.

Juventus | vs Sampdoria | 2019

We could have gone with Ronaldo's brilliant volley against his former side, Man United.

But we've selected his goal against Sampdoria in January as it just shows what a physical freak Ronaldo is.

Ronaldo, who was a few months away from his 35th birthday, rose ridiculously high to head home.

He produced a leap that basketball players would be proud of.

Portugal | vs Spain | 2018

The goal was good, but the circumstances of it makes it so much better.

Portugal were trailing Spain 3-2 in their opening World Cup group B match in 2018.

In the 88th minute, Portugal were given a free-kick in a dangerous position.

Ronaldo had been getting slated for his declining ability from set-pieces but he produced the goods when it mattered as he arrowed his effort into the top corner.

That goal completed Ronaldo's hat-trick and he saved his country a point in the process.

Let's hope Ronaldo has many more screamers left in him before he decides to hang up his boots.
