David Beckham made hundreds, if not thousands, of spectacular passes in his career, but his one to Ronaldo while playing for Real Madrid against Real Zaragoza stands out as arguably his finest.
Out wide on the right, Becks whipped in an inch-perfect cross into Zaragoza’s box that Ronaldo managed to turn home.
It was immaculate.
With his trademark technique, he curled a delivery into the area that fell just above a Zaragoza defender.

The curl on the ball meant it arrived perfectly for Ronaldo and the Brazilian forward tucked it away.
Some consider it his greatest pass ever.
Ronaldo and Beckham recently reunited for a star-studded Instagram Live that also featured Luis Figo, Iker Casillas And Roberto Carlos.
Ronaldo was full of praise for Beckham, and his passing in particular.
“You were one of the best of all time in the centre, the way you touch the ball, could put the ball wherever you want, and without looking at me the ball would come,” R9 said.
“I should thank you for many balls you gave to me. You were amazing.”
The pass came during Real Madrid‘s Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Real Zaragoza.
You might be confused by Ronaldo’s reaction to scoring – picking the ball up and immediately restarting play – but Real were in desperation mode.
Los Blancos were beaten 6-1 in the first leg and, despite Ronaldo’s goal putting them 3-0 up on the night, they still had work to do.
They scored a fourth goal but couldn’t grab another and lost 6-5 on aggregate.
A valiant effort but it wasn’t enough.
Still, at least we got to see an unbelievable Beckham pass.
