Football is slowly returning across Europe after the coronavirus pandemic put a halt to the season.The Premier League is set to return on June 17.And, assuming everything goes smoothly, Liverpool will lift their first Premier League title.The Reds are currently 25 points clear with nine games left to play.They need just two wins to end their long wait for the trophy.However, the rules and regulations following the coronavirus pandemic means Liverpool's trophy lift is going to be very different to what it usually is.Players aren't allowed to celebrate together to respect social distancing rules.Liverpool are also set to win the title away from Anfield and in front of an empty stadium.It's surely going to be a bizarre experience. So, what can Liverpool expect when they finally lift the trophy?RB Salzburg showed Liverpool what is to come when they destroyed Austria Lustenau 5-0 in the OFB-Cup final on Friday evening.And their trophy celebrations were weird to say the least. Circles were drawn out, with players expected to stand in them and maintain two metres away from each other.
The trophy is then passed around as every player gets the chance to hold it aloft.
It doesn't look like Salzburg players showed extreme amounts of emotion with players not allowed to celebrate together.
Of course, there's also not much atmosphere in the stadium, with no cheers from the crowd.
It's certainly strange to watch and it must have been a bizarre experience for the players too.
A number of football fans have criticised the trophy celebrations.
It won't be the same for Jurgen Klopp's side, that's for sure.
It's a shame that Liverpool players and fans won't get to enjoy the celebrations as much as they could have, but social distanced trophy celebrations are better than no celebrations at all.
