Steven Gerrard celebrates his 40th birthday today.
The Liverpool legend did so much for the club during his spell.
He made his debut in 1998 and went on to play 710 times in his 17-year spell.
He left in 2015 having guided the club to nine major titles, including the Champions League in 2005 and the FA Cup in 2006.
Gerrard is one of the best midfielders in Premier League history and also one of the best players in Liverpool’s history.
Liverpool’s players and staff wanted to show how much Gerrard means to them in training today.
And so, they did that by wishing him a happy birthday in a variety of languages.
That is despite Gerrard not being in attendance.

“The fans make a club and the fans at Liverpool are special, they always have been with me and that’s where we get our connection from.
