One of Manchester United’s 13 title-winning sides? Arsenal’s ‘Invincibles’? Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea? The record-breaking Manchester City? Or this season’s Liverpool?

They all have genuine arguments to take the crown.

But let’s forget about the best side and consider who the Premier League’s best club is.

Of course, considering their 13 Premier League titles, United top the all-time points-per-game table.

Interestingly, though, despite both Manchester City (four) and Chelsea (five) winning more titles than Arsenal (three), the Gunners occupy second place. Chelsea and Liverpool make up the top four.

Championship sides Leeds (7th) and Blackburn (8th) are surprisingly high - although the latter did win the league back in 1994/95.

At the other end of the table, Huddersfield are officially the worst side in Premier League history. Derby may hold the unwanted record of picking up just 11 points in 2007/08 but Huddersfield went down last season with just 16 points.

That gives them a worse points-per-game ratio than Swindon Town, who won just five matches from their 42 back in 1993/94, conceding 100 goals.
