Jose Mourinho's stance on Tottenham Hotspur signing Philippe Coutinho this summer has been revealed, per Marca via Sport Witness.
Spurs have been heavily linked with a move for the Barcelona star, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, for some time.
Sport reported last week that the north London club were even willing to pay him a total of €220,000-per-week, which equates to £197,138-per-week.
Barca were also said to be demanding a total of €10m (£8.9m) for the loan but it has now emerged that Mourinho is not exactly keen on the idea.
The Portuguese, per the aforementioned Marca report, has closed the door on a potential move for the Brazilian, who had been offered to Spurs, initially for transfer.
It is said that he is not contemplating the idea of securing Coutinho's signature, mainly down to concerns over his wages, and that would seem to tally with a separate Telegraph report claiming that the club are set for a lean summer without much expense.

Coutinho has been in good form for Bayern, making 32 appearances, scoring nine goals and registering eight assists, per Transfermarkt.
But if one is to examine Spurs' squad, it becomes clear that they really don't need to sign another creative attacking midfielder.
While Christian Eriksen departed for Inter Milan in January, Spurs still have Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli, Gedson Fernandes, Erik Lamela, and even Steven Bergwijn who can play behind Harry Kane and try to supplement his threat.
A move for Coutinho would be costly and also represent an ignorance of the issues the club face elsewhere; they are light in defensive midfield and at full-back, where bodies will be needed this summer.
In a summer when money is likely to be scarce, spending any of it on Coutinho would be nothing short of a waste.
