Lionel Messi has scored countless sensational goals for Barcelona during his illustrious professional career.

The Argentine superstar has well and truly perfected the art of the 'solo goal' and his mastering of the skill was never more apparent than in 2015.

A few weeks after leaving Bayern Munich's Jerome Boateng in a heap during the Champions League semi-final, Messi was at it again in the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao.

Barca's Camp Nou was chosen as the host venue for the final and with the score locked at 0-0 on 20 minutes, Messi sparked into life.

Picking the ball up near the halfway line, the little magician waltzed around four Bilbao defenders near the touchline before firing an unstoppable shot past the 'keeper at the near post.

It's one of the most iconic cup final goals of all-time and Messi's strike was brilliantly captured by a fan in the stadium that evening.

The footage remains to this day one of football's greatest videos and you can watch it below.

The run, the finish, the reaction from the fans - it truly is the perfect video!

That roar from the Camp Nou crowd is simply breathtaking.

Messi went on to score his second goal of the night on 74 minutes as Barcelona romped to a 3-1 victory.

But if the fan footage isn't quite enough to satisfy your appetite for magical Messi moments on its own, here's the iconic commentary from Sky Sports the very same evening.

Football really is the beautiful game, isn't it?

The 2014/15 season saw Barca secure the treble under the leadership of Luis Enrique and Messi ended the campaign with 58 goals and 28 assists to his name in just 57 appearances in all competitions.

It was also the first year that the Argentine, Luis Suarez and Neymar combined to form the now legendary 'MSN' trio.

Don't you just miss football?
