Ryan Fraser will not be moving to North London this summer after Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur cooled their interest.

According to The Athletic, neither club see the Bournemouth man as a suitable target this summer.

The winger was close to agreeing a move to the Emirates Stadium last summer after an impressive campaign for Bournemouth in which came second in the league's assist chart behind Eden Hazard.

However after a campaign that's been hit by injury it seems that his stock may have fallen.

Fraser is out of contract at the end of the season and so would be available on a free transfer, however both the Gunners and Spurs are said to be focusing on other target.

The 26-year-old has struggled to recreate last season's form after scoring one and creating just four so far in the Premier League.

He's sure to attract interest given the fact that he'll be available for nothing, however it now seems unlikely that he'll be plying his trade in North London unless their other transfer targets fall through.

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

It looks set to be a summer of uncertainty for Ryan Fraser.

After narrowly missing out on a move to Arsenal last summer, the Scotland international has endured a frustrating season on the South Coast.

A lack of form has seen the interest from the Premier League's top sides dry up - something which has weakened his hand significantly.

I'm sure that Fraser will still have plenty of interest, however it remains to be seen whether a club challenging for the top four will be among those who express an interest.

The fact that he's available on a free transfer is surely appealing, however the fact that his form has been questionable at best this term is a big concern.

For Arsenal it's a clear signal of intent that they're looking for offensive players with a stronger track record of success in the top flight.

Whether they'll be able to find that in the current market, however, remains to be seen.
