Supporters were left disappointed after Saul Niguez announced his future plans.

The Spanish midfielder got pulses racing at Old Trafford after hinting that he would announce his 'new club' this week, with many hoping he'd be heading to the North West.

However the new club in question is actually the creation of a new football team called Club Costa City, based in Elche, which will bring together more than 30 teams and more than 500 players of all categories (between 4 and 18 years old) in the city of Elche.

Marcos Rojo to return to Manchester United

Marcos Rojo is 'likely to return to Old Trafford for the end of the Premier League season.

The defender was shipped out to Estudiantes in January after falling out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.

Brandon Williams has described Paul Pogba and Daniel James as being 'impossible to get near' in training.

The young full-back was speaking to BT Sport when he was quizzed on his teammates.

Speaking about Pogba, he said: ‘You’re not getting near him, his arms are so strong he’s so tall.

"You won’t see the ball all you see is the guy in front of you and he’ll be gone.

"He’ll turn you and shoot and just do whatever he does because he’s got all the skills."

Dimitar Berbatov issues challenge to Man United's Odion Ighalo

Dimitar Berbatov has urged Odion Ighalo to earn himself a permanent switch to Manchester United.

The former Watford man has extended his loan spell at Old Trafford until the end of January 2021, and according to Berbatov, it's crucial that the frontman keeps striving for more.

Speaking to Betfair, he said: "It is also great news, for club and player, United have extended the loan of Odion Ighalo.

"The way he linked with the other players, his interaction with the team and everything he did was top quality for the time he was given to play.

"Now, Ighalo has a massive challenge ahead of him to prove that it was the right decision from the club.

"Now that he’s staying until 31 January 2021, why not go out there and show the club why he should stay for even longer?

"Why not fight for a permanent contract? He’s a great boost for the team and it puts United in a strong position.’
