Arsenal could be set to lose Kieran Tierney during the summer transfer window.
According to reporter Duncan Castles, the 22-year-old could be a surprise target for Leicester City as they look to tighten their grip on the top four.
The Foxes have enjoyed a successful season in the Premier League so far and find themselves in third place with nine matches remaining.
As a result they'll be keen to strengthen again this summer, and given the ongoing speculation linking Ben Chilwell with a move to Chelsea, they could well be looking for a left-back.
Tierney is a player that Brendan Rodgers knows particularly well having managed him 127 times during their time together at Celtic, and speaking about the prospect of a move to the King Power Stadium, Castles believes that Arsenal's money problems could force their hand.
Speaking on The Transfer Window Podcast, Castles said: "Tierney has struggled through injury, and with the managerial changes at Arsenal as well.
"He's made just 11 appearances for them so far, just five in the Premier League.
"So when you're looking at a player who has struggled in that first season like that, was bought for a substantial fee, he's at a club that has money problems.
"They do need to make changes to their squad and they need to find revenue to do that.
"So in normal circumstances you would say there's no chance of getting a player in from Arsenal who was bought for a substantial fee and was part of the most recent rebuild.
"But perhaps in these circumstances a deal would be viable for Leicester."
