Liverpool’s Premier League title triumph is edging ever closer.

The Reds will be back in action on the weekend of June 20 and June 21.

They have nine games of their season remaining but they are, of course, a staggering 25 points clear of second-placed Manchester City.

Liverpool have lost just once this season so it is merely a case of when rather than if, and one has to wonder if some minds are beginning to drift towards the summer, particularly among the club’s supporters.

GIVEMESPORT, as a result, has taken a look at the top headlines from across the internet.

Take a look below!

Sport, via Sport Witness, claims that Liverpool have attempted to do a deal to bring Vinicius Jr into the club from Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants, who have no intention of allowing the Brazilian to leave the club have rejected that outright, however.

The report claims that a proposal was made, though no fee is carried and no detail is provided towards whether or not the deal was for a permanent transfer or a loan deal.

Vinicius has scored seven goals for Real since his move from Flamengo and has also registered 15 assists, per Transfermarkt.

Remi Savage has signed a new contract at the club, the Reds’ official website has confirmed.

The 18-year-old is a centre-back who has been a fixture for the club’s U18 side, making 33 appearances and even scoring two goals, per Transfermarkt.

He has also played three times for the U23s, though he is yet to be utilised in the club’s first-team squad.

Savage, who can also play at left-back, won the FA Youth Cup last season and will now set his sights on proving his worth and continuing his development before breaking into the Reds’ squad.

Dembele deal doubt

The London Evening Standard reports that Liverpool have not made an offer to sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona this summer.

The Reds were interested in signing the France international before his move from Rennes to Borussia Dortmund in 2016; he went on to seal a massive £135 million move to Camp Nou, according to the report.

And, due to a number of injury issues, he has flattered to deceive in Catalonia, scoring 19 goals and registering 17 assists in 74 outings, per Transfermarkt.

Juventus are named as potential suitors for the winger, but the Standard claims that Jurgen Klopp isn’t interested in the Reds rivalling that interest.

Lovren speaks on his future

Dejan Lovren has confirmed that he is “always ready” to step into the Liverpool team in an interview with Sky Sports.

The centre-back has admitted to frustrations when he doesn’t play – he has made nine Premier League appearances this term – but he maintains that he is not thinking about moving away from Anfield.

Indeed, he states that he remains sharp and focused as he looks to provide back-up to the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.

He said: "Winning, for me, is like a drug.

"When we won the Champions League, I didn't play but I felt so happy and proud to be part of the team.

"But in some moments, of course, you also think to yourself that you want to play. It's not the greatest moment when you don't, but I have a mentality that is focused.

"I'm always ready. If someone is injured and coming off, I'm ready to step in and show my quality. I think I proved that last season, when Joe Gomez or Joel Matip were injured and I came in and played.

"My goal is to play and to win as many trophies as possible. But at the moment the focus is just to win the next two games and be champions. After that we will see what happens."
