Liverpool have contacted Wolves with regards to a summer move for Adama Traore, according to Le 10 Sport, as quoted by The Express.

The winger has made quite an impression since moving to Molineux from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2018.

Over the course of this season, Traore has scored four goals and created seven for Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

It's the Spaniard's unstoppable pace and power that makes him a unique prospect that is attracting the attention of clubs such as Liverpool and Barcelona.

Traore started his career at the Nou Camp and so could be tempted by a move back, however a move to Anfield would be a different prospect altogether.

Reports have suggested that Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the 24-year-old, and with super agent Jorge Mendes keen to force through a move, it's one which could quickly gather pace.

Mendes is not the agent of Traore, however his relationships with several key stakeholders at Wolves means that he could be key in convincing them to sanction the sale.

GIVEMESPORT'S Phil Spencer says...

This would certainly be an exciting signing.

Adama Traore is one of the most entertaining players in the Premier League with his raw pace and power capable of causing problems for any defender in the world.

His technical skills are a little bit hit and miss, but given the physical attributes that he brings it more than makes up for it.

While he might not be a regular starter under Jurgen Klopp, Traore would certainly play a valuable role for the Reds as they once again look to compete on several fronts next term.

Wolves may be reluctant to let him leave but given his technical limitations you'd imagine that they could be tempted to let him go for the right price.
