Arsenal target Odsonne Edouard to be offered new deal by Celtic

Arsenal will face an uphill battle if they're to complete a deal for Odsonne Edouard this summer.

According to The Metro, the Celtic striker is being offered a new deal by the Scottish champions in an attempt to keep him at the club.

The 22-year-old has been in stunning form since moving to Parkhead in the summer of 2017, with the striker proving himself as one of the top young strikers in Europe.

This included scoring 21 goals in 27 appearances this as the Bhoys secured another league title.

As a result this has led to significant interest from clubs on the continent, including Arsenal and Leicester City who are credited with an interest.

Arsenal face competition from Bayern Munich for Marc Roca

Arsenal face competition to sign Marc Roca, according to a fresh report from Spanish outlet Sport.

The Espanyol midfielder was linked with a move to the Gunners a number of weeks ago but now AC Milan have emerged as new contenders to sign the 23-year-old.

As per the report, Arsenal have already held negotiations over a move for the holding player who attracted interest from Bayern Munich last summer.

They reportedly bid €20m for his signature before it was swiftly rejected.

A player with plenty of suitors, it is thought €40m (£35.6m) will be enough to lure him away from the La Liga outfit.

That fee is his current release clause.

Despite the Gunners’ appeal, Milan are said to be “very interested” according to the aforementioned report.

Arsenal's Konstantinos Mavropanos linked with permanent exit

Konstantinos Mavropanos is nearing the exit door at Arsenal with a large transfer scramble emerging.

The Greek defender is currently on loan with Nurnburg in Bundesliga 2 where football has already started again despite the Coronavirus pandemic.

However, Goal suggests that the youngster may now be heading out the door on a permanent basis with numerous clubs in Germany interested in his services.

It’s reported that more than five Bundesliga clubs have already registered an interest in signing the 22-year-old permanently once the window opens.

However, a sticking point could be the fact that Mavropanos actually wants to stay at the Emirates Stadium.

Goal claim Arsenal are in need of building funds this summer so selling the Greek centre-half isn’t out of the question.
