Chelsea fans are excited about the prospect of Kai Havertz linking up with Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech in the summer.

According to the Daily Mail, the Blues are ready to make a £75 million for Havertz, who has lit up the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen this season.

The 20-year-old has scored five goals in four games since the season resumed and the race to sign him is hotting up.

Chelsea are ready to do what it takes to get him and it would leave Frank Lampard with some brilliant options in attack.

Havertz, Werner and Ziyech would join an attacking group that already includes Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic.

That’s quite something.

GiveMeSport has listed six ways Chelsea could line up in attack if they add Havertz to the mix.

4-2-3-1 with Havertz the No.10

Havertz is comfortable playing in a range of positions and in the No.10 role, his passing and vision would come to the fore.

Werner is the striker, with Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi operating out wide.

We like this one a lot.

4-2-3-1 with Havertz out wide

Havertz can play on the right wing, meaning there's room at No.10 for either Ziyech or Mason Mount. On this occasion we've brought Mount into the team.

Pulisic is on the left while Werner starts as the No.9.

4-3-3 WITHOUT Havertz

Chelsea will have plenty of attacking depth if Havertz arrives, meaning Lampard can rotate players in and out.

Havertz sits out this time around, with Werner flanked by Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi.

4-3-1-2 with Abraham and Werner in attack

Hello there, Tammy Abraham.

Lampard could partner Werner in attack with Abraham, who has made the most of his opportunities this season.

Goals are guaranteed with Havertz sitting just behind them.

4-2-3-1 with Havertz the No.9

Havertz has shown that he can be trusted to lead the line.

The supporting cast will provide plenty of opportunities for him in this line-up.

3-4-2-1

Lampard has used a 3-4-2-1 system in the past and it would suit Havertz perfectly.

He sits alongside Ziyech, with the pair in great positions to score goals and create chances.

Here are just six ways Chelsea could line up. But we could have come up with plenty more options.

Lampard might have a selection headache next season...
