Celtic are keeping tabs on prolific Peterborough forward Ivan Toney.
The striker has bagged 26 goals this season and unsurprisingly, is now attracting the attention of some quite reputable teams.
According to Posh’s chairman, Barry Fry, both the Hoops and Rangers are hoping to sign the 24-year-old who failed to make the grade at Premier League Newcastle.
Speaking to The Daily Mail (via The Scottish Sun), he said: “I've had agents on telling me that Rangers and Celtic are very interested. But I haven't had any calls from either Rangers or Celtic, personally.
“If they have any sense, they'll pay us £15million to get him. If they haven't any sense at all, then I won't be hearing from them."
For someone currently playing in the third tier of English football, that price would be a considerable fee to pay, but Toney wouldn’t arrive without a goal-scoring pedigree.
In the last two years alone, he’s found the back of the net a remarkable 49 times.

It’s been made pretty clear that Celtic are hoping to tie up a new deal for star striker Odsonne Edouard.
The Frenchman finished the 2019/20 season with 27 strikes to his name, just one ahead of the imperious Toney, but has attracted the interest of clubs like Arsenal.
If he remains in Scotland, it would be a rather strange statement from Celtic to cough up the £15m required to sign the Football League star.
After all, Leigh Griffiths was back at his scintillating best before lockdown occurred, scoring a hat-trick against St Mirren – there would simply be no need for three attackers of genuine quality.
However, if Edouard does indeed walk through the exit door, then Toney would surely be an ideal replacement.
The 5 foot 10 forward knows where the back of the net is and has scored at a more impressive rate than Celtic’s frontman did this term.
Either way, the addition of Toney would certainly help them in their quest for ten in a row.
