An absolute shocker. Put your hands up, ladies and gentleman - how many of you thought Kante would be number one?
Well, even if you didn't, we're pretty confident you predicted he'd be higher than 14th and clearly his poor finishing and shooting has taken away from what is an immaculate set of defensive stats.
13. Moussa Sissoko (Tottenham Hotspur) - 2,211
Ouch. So, Kante isn't even the most complete French midfielder playing for a London club...
12. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) - 2,213
Kane might have had an average 18 months by his lofty standards, but he remains one of the world's best number nines and we can get behind him being a more rounded player than Aguero.

Let's give Milner a massive round of applause for still being one of the Premier League's very best at 34 years old and he'll have a title-winning medal to show for it in just a few week's time.

Oh god. In fairness to Cancelo, there's still time for him to turn his City career around, but everything is pointing towards the ex-Juventus man finishing up as one of Guardiola's worst ever transfers.

From one of City's worst signings to one of their best, you could even argue that Fernandinho will be harder to replace than David Silva when you consider what he's done for the club since 2013.
8. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 2,228
It seems bizarrely vogue for people to call Salah overrated, but let's put some respect on the name of a player who has won the Golden Boot in every full season he's ever played in the Premier League.
7. Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) - 2,231
If you wonder why Liverpool fans harp on about Firmino being the 'complete' number nine, well, it could be something to do with the fact stats show he is indeed the league's most well-rounded forward.
6. Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur) - 2,238
Despite a brief renaissance when Jose Mourinho first arrived in north London, we can probably all agree that Alli deserves to tumble down the rankings a little when FIFA 21 hits the shelves.
5. Lucas Digne (Everton) - 2,242
Ermmm... look, we think Digne is a top-class full-back and one who's brilliant at both ends of the pitch, but we don't believe for one second that he's got more in his locker than Alexander-Arnold.
4. Georginio Wijnaldum (Liverpool) - 2,250
Another Liverpool player who doesn't get the credit he deserves, Wijnaldum is an all-action asset to Klopp's side and shouldn't be shallowly criticised on the basis of his goals and assists stats.

It's an exciting time to be a United fan and one of the biggest reasons for that is Fernandes, who has established himself as one of the Premier League's best players after just five matches.

But for our money, De Bruyne is rightfully the most complete player in the league as well as our pick for the PFA award and the world's best passer. We'd choose him over Pogba every day of the week.
Tied at the top
So, there you have it, there's a dead heat between the Manchester clubs for top pick.
However, even though most of us would agree that De Bruyne is the top dog, it's arguably United who can sit with the biggest smile for the fact both Pogba and Fernandes are on their books.
Both clubs kissed goodbye to their title chances long, long ago, but it will be fascinating to see if either of them can give Liverpool a true run for their money next season. Bring it on.
