West Ham have set their sights on signing Fiorentina midfielder Erick Pulgar.
That's according to Corriere dello Sport (via Football Italia), who claim the Hammers will battle Sevilla to sign the 26-year-old this summer.
The Chile international has only been with his current club for a season after leaving Bologna in 2019, signing for the Florence based side for a fee of €12m (£10.7m).
And that's the price that West Ham are reportedly ready to pay when the transfer window opens in order to land Pulgar.
The complications, however, come in the fact that Fiorentina will reject that offer. It's not known how much the Chilean's club will be looking for.
At present, Pulgar is under contract with the Tuscan outfit until 2023.

Pulgar is a defensive midfielder by trade but can also play slightly further forward in the middle of the park.
So far this term, he's scored four goals and also contributed three assists for his teammates, providing evidence that he can affect the play in positive ways at both ends of the pitch.
He is the definition of an all-action midfielder, winning 2.4 tackles per game in Serie A this campaign. It's no surprise, therefore, that he's earned comparisons to another Chilean - Arturo Vidal.
Calcio Mercato pieced together an article last year claiming plenty of comparisons had been made between the two, even detailing how their games were similar. With that in mind, he'd be an exciting capture, but it's also hard to work out exactly where he'd fit into the system at the London Stadium.
After all, the Irons already have Declan Rice in a holding role next to club captain Mark Noble. It's possible that he could become Noble's successor in midfield but it would take a brave manager to dislodge him so easily.
Either way, West Ham will have to cough up more than the £10.7m they're planning to offer.
