Tottenham are one of two Premier League club's to have registered an interested in West Ham's Jeremy Ngakia.
The 19-year-old shocked the Hammers this week when he refused to sign a short-term deal to see out the rest of the Premier League campaign.
Ngakia's contract comes to an end at the climax of the current season and it doesn't look as though he'll be renewing his terms.
It was a decision that left West Ham dismayed, particularly David Moyes. He said:
"Jeremy is another one and I feel he is making a mistake choosing not to stay with us. We’ve trusted him in big games and everyone likes him at the club. We’re also really disappointed with his decision not to stay beyond June 30."
Two teams are already sniffing around the player with West Ham insider EXWHUEmployee declaring on the latest episode of his podcast:
"I do believe that Ngakia may have been informed of other clubs’ interest in him. He probably hasn’t been promised games at West Ham. I have heard that Crystal Palace and Spurs are amongst a number of clubs who have shown an interest in him.”

This would be a monumental kick in the teeth for Spurs' Kyle Walker-Peters.
The young right-back was loaned out to Southampton until the end of the season with a view to progressing his football but with another budding defender arriving at the club, it would potentially be disastrous for his future in north London.
Ngakia has proven himself to be an astute defender despite being just a teenager. He made his Premier League debut versus Liverpool and then a month later put in an impressive display against the same opposition.
In that 3-2 defeat for the Hammers, he won five tackles and also three aerial duels.
Clearly, the starlet still has a long way to go in his career but on a free transfer, Spurs would be doing little wrong by bringing him across London in the summer.
Mourinho isn't particularly known for handing young players an opportunity but this could be the start of a shift in policy.
