The Premier League is set to return on June 17, and a Manchester-based company have come up with a creative solution to ensure supporters will be able to enjoy a pub atmosphere for matches without breaking lockdown regulations.

Supporters who usually make the pilgrimage to their local to watch the action unfold will be unable to do so until at least July 4, but they can now hire an inflatable pub for their gardens with the Inflatable Pub Company.

The pubs come fully equipped with a bar, tables, benches, inflatable kegs and even a sound system.

For £495, you can hire a pub that holds a maximum capacity of 40 people - although the government’s current lockdown regulations limit that to a more restrained six.

That would leave you with plenty of space to enjoy the game and ensure social distancing, as the pubs are 20ft high, 25ft long and 20ft wide.

The inflatables are cleaned thoroughly before and after use, and customers are encouraged to wipe down the pub’s surfaces to ensure they remain safe to use.

While nothing can fill the void created by the lack of supporters bouncing on the terraces at matches, fans can now at least fulfil a key part of the matchday ritual using the company’s inflatable pubs.

So what are you waiting for? The Premier League returns next week, so get yourself an inflatable pub sorted for the big event.

Manchester City vs Arsenal is certainly a cracking game to christen the pub, so get on the phone to your six closest mates and invite them round!

We're sure the other half won't mind...
