PS5 launch: Everything we learned about Sony's exciting new console

Sony's PlayStation 5 launch last night understandably had gaming fans across the world giddy with with excitement.
Images of the sleek new console were shown for the first time, as well as trailers for upcoming games to be released on the console.
The console was revealed to facilitate 4k Ultra HD Blu-Ray, possesses an Ultra-High Speed SSD and ray tracing.
The sleek new controller will feature haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, motion sensors, a built-in microphone, an integrated speaker, a headset jack and USB port.
In total, 25 new games were revealed during last night's hour-long event and you can view all of them below, as well as a selection of official trailers.

Wow, we're in for a treat!
The news that an updated version of Grand Theft Auto 5 will be released for the PS5 was perhaps the only revelation of the evening that was slightly underwhelming.
It now looks increasingly apparent that Grand Theft Auto 6 will not be available for at least a few years.
But with the likes of Gran Turismo 7, Hitman 3, a new Resident Evil game and many, many more, we can probably make do with an updated version of GTA 5, eh?
An official release date for the PS5 was still not confirmed last night by Sony, with the price of the also console still unknown.
However, a release is expected this year and as we reported HERE, it's not going to come cheap...
