Liverpool are one of a few teams showing an interest in defender Milan Skriniar.
That's according to Gazetta in Italy who claim the Reds have compiled a dossier about the centre-back.
The report suggests Liverpool's interest has been long-term as three Premier League clubs all look to bring him to England.
Also intrigued by Skriniar are Manchester United and Manchester City - two of Jurgen Klopp's fiercest competitors.
However, Inter are unwilling to sell, and any team who wants him will have to pay over €50m (£44.8m) for his services.
All three clubs are known for spending over those sums of money, particularly for defenders. Kyle Walker cost Man City £53m while Virgil van Dijk and Harry Maguire were both over or around the £75m mark.

This news is timely given the reports surrounding Virgil van Dijk on Friday. It's reported that the Dutchman is set to become their highest-paid player in the club's history by signing a new £220,000-a-week deal.
Liverpool have struggled to partner the imperious centre-half at times, rotating between Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren but they have still conceded the fewest most goals - 21 - in the top-flight.
It's a scary thought that their defence and indeed their whole team could get better.
That would be the reality facing the rest of the Premier League if Skriniar chose to sign for Liverpool.
An elite level centre-back, the 25-year-old is of Slovakian nationality, previously being described by ESPN as "the more elegant heir to Skrtel's throne" in his country's backline.
A ball-playing defender, Skriniar has completed 92.3% of his passes in Serie A this season, making 2.9 clearances and also winning 2.5 tackles per game in the Champions League.
Someone for the big occasion, the tall 6 foot 2 frame of the Inter defender would undoubtedly improve Liverpool.
It's frightening to think they could partner Van Dijk with someone of his quality.
