Leeds have been tipped to sign San Lorenzo forward Adolfo Gaich this summer.
Speaking to Football Insider, pundit Michael Brown cited Marcelo Bielsa's influence at Elland Road - suggesting the money required to sign the youngster isn't a lot if they reach the promised land of the Premier League.
FI reported last week that the Argentine striker could join Leeds when the window opens with the Whites' Director of Football Victor Orta chasing a transfer that may cost them £12m - the release clause of the player.
The 21-year-old appears to be an option for a number of clubs, including Leeds' Championship rivals West Bromwich Albion.
Speaking about the situation, the former Port Vale boss said:
“Listen, he’ll be well known, Marcelo Bielsa, in that area, in that region. People will want to play for Marcelo Bielsa, for sure. Is he a great coach and somebody you’d look to from where you’ve been brought up? Of course it will be.
“We’ve got to understand what type of player they’re going to get. Trust in Marcelo Bielsa, that’s all it is. If he believes he’s going to help the football club, then fantastic. We’re talking about the Premier League now, we’re talking about signings and at £12million, it’s not a lot of money.”

For a host of Argentine players, the lure of Bielsa will surely be hard to turn down.
Previously manager of the national team, the 64-year-old has a fine reputation in his home country, managing the likes of Lionel Messi's old team - Newell's Old Boys - and also Velez Sarsfield.
Known as a ruthless coach, one who allegedly charged at fans with a grenade, he is a crazy character, but no one can deny his managerial ability.
He has helped changed the face of Leeds in the last two years, taking them from a mid-table side to a club on the cusp of the Premier League.
However, one thing that hasn't gone so right for Leeds during that time is the players they've signed in a central forward position. Patrick Bamford went ten games without finding the net this season while spending large parts of last term out injured.
The less said about Eddie Nketiah and Jean-Kevin Augustin the better.
Gaich has scored five goals in just 12 outings this term so Bielsa will be hoping for better luck this time around.
