Manchester United have made an enquiry to sign Gent forward Jonathan David this summer.
That's per a report from Belgian publication HLN, who suggest the Red Devils are one of six clubs interested in signing the Canadian starlet.
Also in the market for the 20-year-old hotshot are Arsenal but there is further competition from across the globe.
That comes in the form of Ajax, Everton, Inter Milan and Portuguese outfit Porto.
The Canadian, who has 11 goals in 12 games for his country, has burst onto the scene with devastating effect this season - netting 23 times in all competitions.
It's hardly surprising that he's attracted interest from the Premier League, where United are believed to have already opened initial exploratory talks with David's club.
It's reported that not even €25m (£22.4m) will be enough to convince Gent to sell.

David is easily one of the most exciting young footballers in Europe right now.
The attacking midfielder, who can also play further forward as a striker, has been in rampant form for Gent, scoring 18 Pro League strikes but also supplying ten goals for his teammates.
He's also shown he can do it on the continental stage too, netting on three occasions in the Europa League.
The Red Devils have recently taken the approach to sign younger players, making moves for Harry Maguire and Dan James last summer so the addition of the 20-year-old Canada international would continue that theme.
Yet, with Bruno Fernandes signing in January, it's difficult to work out whether David would start in the number 10 role.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may opt to move Marcus Rashford onto the flanks in order to accommodate the youngster but it would take a brave manager to upset someone with 19 goals this season.
Either way, United would be foolish to pass on the opportunity of signing such a promising player.
