Jude Bellingham is poised to reject a move to Manchester United and instead sign for Borussia Dortmund, according to SPORT Bild’s Christian Falk.

The journalist spoke to Utdreport in an exclusive interview and was asked about the midfielder’s situation.

Bellingham is currently starring for Birmingham City, making 35 appearances this season, scoring four goals and registering three assists.

He is just 16 and has immense versatility; he has played in central midfield, on the left and the right flank, as well as featuring in attacking midfield and once at centre-forward.

And Falk has now confirmed that the teenager is set to snub United’s interest and follow in Jadon Sancho’s footsteps by moving to Germany.

He said: “The strong clubs in the Bundesliga, behind Bayern, offer talented English players a chance to play, even internationally. Bellingham will therefore also go to Dortmund, not United.

“You will see.

“Our information is that he has chosen Borussia Dortmund.”

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

Bellingham is incredibly highly-rated at St Andrews.

The teenager has become one of the top players in the Championship and is only likely to improve as the season continues.

A move to Germany would likely see him given the opportunity to play at the highest level next season and then, potentially, make his way into England boss Gareth Southgate’s plans.

He has been compared to a Liverpool icon previously, with Jermaine Pennant telling talkSPORT that “he reminds me of a young Steven Gerrard.”

He added: “He is a really special talent. What he can achieve in his career is frightening.”

Only one thing seems certain: He will be on the move this summer.
