Manchester United's Jesse Lingard has created his own range of face masks in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.Face masks will be compulsory on public transport in England from June 15 and Lingard is doing his bit to help commuters in need of protection. The 27-year-old also confirmed in his Instagram post on the matter this morning that all the proceeds will be going to the NHS, with each individual mask costing £12.Lingard wrote on his official social media page: "Hello everybody, I hope all is well. I hope everybody is staying safe. As you know from Monday 15th June, it is mandatory that everybody wears face masks on public transport. "So I have decided to create these, JLIngz face masks to protect you and others. Of course, all proceeds will go to the NHS, to help to continue the support they are doing."They are doing an amazing job and this is a little thank you from me. So everybody stay safe out there. Lots of love, Jesse."It really is a wonderful gesture from the often criticised United man.On the official JLingz website, the masks are described as 'comfortable and easy to wear'. They also fit all different face shapes and sizes.Image from the official JLingz websiteLingard's act of generosity follows on from the almost superhuman charitable efforts of United teammate Marcus Rashford during lockdown. The Red Devils striker took to Twitter yesterday to confirm that the financial goal had been met to supply meals 3 million vulnerable people across the UK.Rashford tweeted: "Guys, I have AMAZING news!! We had a goal that by end of June @fareshareuk would be able to supply 3million meals to vulnerable people across the UK. TODAY we have met the financial goal to provide these meals. Thank you all SO much for the support."And whilst I’m celebrating this, there is SO much more to do. Trust me when I say, I will keep fighting until no child in the UK has to worry about where their next meal is coming from. This is England in 2020 and families need help."

Well played, lads.
