Mohammed Kudus wants to join Liverpool this summer, per Calciomercato.

The Nordsjaelland man is a versatile figure, given that he can play as a central striker or as a central midfielder.

Indeed, he has scored nine senior goals in all competitions this season, providing one assist, and the report claims that the Reds are interested in taking him to Anfield.

A Ghana international, Kudus began his career at the Danish club, and has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United

The report states that Sampdoria are interested too, but Kudus has made his mind up: He wants to move to Anfield.

The Reds are said to be keen but negotiations are yet to begin.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

Kudus presents an interesting profile given that he can excel as both a striker and a midfielder.

That is right up Jurgen Klopp’s alley, given the multi-functional nature of the frontline he has assembled.

Indeed, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino routinely swap positions and occupy different spaces on the pitch; Kudus would be able to do that too.

Of course, it must be said that he has only played in Denmark and it is unclear if he would be able to take to Premier League action like a duck to water.

There is only one way to find out, though; he wants the move, it is down to Liverpool to decide if they want him.
