Cristiano Ronaldo woefully missed a penalty on his Juventus return vs AC Milan.
Ronaldo had been away from our screens for an unprecedented three months, last appearing during Juventus' 2-0 win over Inter Milan in front of an empty Allianz Stadium.
The gradual return of European football has come as a huge relief to supporters around the world and there have been few greater signs of its comeback than Ronaldo taking to the pitch.
Juve's welcome-back fixture came in their Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against AC Milan, almost four months to the day since the initial fixture was played at San Siro.
That particular encounter ended 1-1 with Ronaldo showing his coolness under pressure with a 91st-minute equaliser from the penalty spot.
Ronaldo misses penalty
This time around, though, there wasn't a single supporter to witness the action as Italy recovers from one of the deadliest bouts of the pathogen.
And Ronaldo might have been thankful for that fact when he stepped up for a penalty in the 15th minute, failing to convert as he did during the first leg by striking the post.
You can check out his unwanted return to action down below:
That's not exactly how Ronaldo wanted to get back into the swing of things.
Rebic sent off for outrageous karate kick
And Ante Rebic was then sent off for a horrendous karate kick just a few seconds later:
What a crazy minute in Italian football... it's fair to say football is back with a bang.
Just imagine the noises the crowd would have been making had they been there to see Ronaldo break character by striking the post and Rebic doing his best impression of Nigel de Jong.
Like him or not, Ronaldo is never far away from drama, but perhaps his shooting boots are a little rusty after so much time away from the pitch.
