Oldham chief executive Alan Hardy has confirmed the club are to remain at Boundary Park for next season.

A planned move to a new stadium in Failsworth collapsed two months ago and Latics chairman Simon Corney declared he was considering moving the club out of the borough altogether.

"We looked at other options but at this stage, it would have been difficult to be accommodated at other sites," Hardy told the Chronicle.

Bury's Gigg Lane ground was mooted as option for ground-sharing as Oldham looked to quit their home of 115 years, but the decision has been made to stay put for the time being.
