Chelsea have made an offer for Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic, according to Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness.

The Juventus midfielder has remained a key member of the Italian side’s squad this season, making 33 appearances in all competitions.

He has spent four years with the club but the report states that he is poised to leave in the summer window.

Indeed, he is said to have agreed to a move to Barcelona in principle, though that move is predicated on Arthur Melo leaving the Camp Nou.

That has yet to be confirmed and, as a result, he has also held talks with the Blues and with French giants PSG.

Both offers are said to have convinced Pjanic that he will be leaving Serie A in the summer, though it remains to be seen where he will end up.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

The 30-year-old is an exceptional midfielder.

A genuinely metronomic player with an incredible eye for a pass, he would bring a level of subtlety and elegance to the Chelsea midfield.

Per WhoScored, he averages 66.3 passes per game with an accuracy of 89.8%, along with 1.2 key passes, 1.7 tackles and 1.2 interceptions.

He is a complete player and really, it is no surprise that so many big clubs are interested in bringing the Bosnia and Herzegovina international in during the summer window.

Transfermarkt value Pjanic at £46.8 million but Chelsea have already shown that they have money to burn.

Indeed, they have secured a deal for Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech and are on the verge of signing Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.

Bringing Pjanic in alongside them would be a stunning statement.
